Fellowship of the King Chess Club
The name we chose when we began in 2005 really fits
our informal atmosphere of casual play and conversation.
Our meetings are simply gatherings for anyone who
likes chess; there
are no dues or fees (except for occasional rated play,
see schedule).
We welcome all ages and skill levels including
beginners, however often you care to visit.
Our aim is to promote chess for its social and mental
benefits while we have fun,
provide mutual support, and promote friendly competition in a
family-friendly environment.
Regular gatherings are on Friday nights, 6-10pm at
Panera Bread, Easton Towne Center
Don’t worry about being on time or staying until the end,
folks drift in and out all evening.
Visitors are welcome anytime! Bring a set if you have one (and clock, if
desired),
but if not, don’t let that stop you… extras are usually
available.
We charge no
dues, but please patronize Panera in appreciation for using their space!
