Fellowship of the King Chess Club

Our club is a loose, informal gathering of anyone who likes to play chess, there are no dues or fees.

We welcome all ages and skill levels (including beginners), whether you want visit just once or every week.

Our goal is to promote chess for its social and mental benefits while we have fun, provide mutual support,

and promote friendly competition in a family-friendly environment.

Regular gatherings consist of casual play and conversation on most Friday nights (see exceptions below),

6-10pm at the Panera Bread at Easton Towne Center, you’re welcome to come or go anytime we’re there.

We charge no fees, but we encourage you to patronize Panera while there, in appreciation for using their space!

Bring your own set (and clock, if desired), but if you can’t, don’t let that stop you, extras are usually available.

We may occasionally hold impromptu rated play on Friday nights,

but most rated tournaments will be at other times and locations, see schedule below.

Easton Towne Center is located in northeast Columbus near Morse Rd and I-270.

(Easton directions here).

Panera is located on the southern edge of Easton at 3942 Townsfair Way

(across from the free parking garage just west of Crate & Barrel, Panera directions here).
